It is very easy to make poha recipe in breakfast just a few mins your yummy recipe ready, Poha is a wholesome meal in itself. Coming from the state of Maharashtra and Gujarat , Poha itself has had several variations across the country and you can add your choice veggies in it.

1 – 1.5 cup thick poha
2- cup washed & dried pressed rice
3 – 1 onion finely chopped
4 -1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
5 – 2.5 grm of peanuts
6 – 1 green chilli
7 -1.5 tablespoon oil
8 – salt to taste
9 – 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
10 – curry leaves
11 – choped cubes of potato
12 – sugar , lemon juice for taste
Step to step how to make poha?
1 – An interesting breakfast recipe, wash pressed rice (poha) and rinse well. Drain all the water and keep aside for 15 minutes.
2 – Heat oil in a pan over low-medium flame and add mustard seeds. When they start spluttering, add curry leaves, peanuts and green chilli in the pan.
3 – Take care not to burn the peanuts. After the peanuts are fried, add the small cubes of potato. Allow the potato to cook well.
4 – Then add the poha into the pan. Mix it well with the ingredients and add the turmeric powder in it.
5 – Once it gets mixed well, add sugar, salt and lemon juice in the pan.
6 – The poha shouldn’t be too dry. Garnish with coriander leaves.
7 – Also, Gujaratis love to garnish their poha with pomegranate seeds, so you can garnish it with that to have a little tangy taste.
